ExpatSafe provides useful and interesting information for people who work and live abroad or those, who need to support an international assignment. The ExpatSafe approach resulted from Achim Heuser´s experiences in the Global Mobility Industry.

Achim Heuser

Is the founder of ExpatSafe. As an attorney with a ride range of experience in an HR and a Legal Department of multinational company he dedicates his working life to Global Mobility. When he established a law and tax firm in Germany 1993, it specialized on counseling in all facettes of global employments like immigration, social security, insurance cover, tax and contract law. The constant seeking to improve the quality of the requested support lead to the development of tools, that go public under the brand of ExpatSafe.

He is author of several books and publications. Among others there is a German title “International Assignments and employing foreigners”, which enters the fourth edition in 2011.

As a speaker he served on various national and international events, seminars and conferences.

He is the publisher of the ExpatSafe Journal.

René Silva

Is the Managing Director of ExpatSafe GmbH. He has more than fourteen years experience in working with highly demanding international clients. He is proud to having had the privilege to represent two international and highly recognized brandnames like Engel & Völkers and Sotheby´s International Realty. In his positions he was also responsible for PR and media. Renè Silva is sesibly aware of the intercultural differences people from different countries might have. He is always enthusiastic in initiating new projects and proud to provide exceptional service to his clients. Among other functions he is the Chief Editor of the ExpatSafe Journal.

Anastasia Siskou

Is the ExpatSafe Global Directory Manager.  She is also the Content Editor of the English edition of the ExpateSafe Journal.  She has a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance as well as 12 years of experience in finance and management earned while working for major multinational companies in the United States.  As President of the American Women’s Club of Düsseldorf (AWCD) and a Trustee and Chair of the Welcome Committee of the International School of Düsseldorf (ISD), Anastasia has gained valuable experience in expatriate services, which she applies in her current job.  She speaks English, Greek, German and basic French.

Stephan Dietrich

Is the Chief Layouter and Designer of ExpatSafe. He contributes his ability to develop designs and layouts for websites, magazines, brochures and other tools. Stephan Dietrich is blessed with the special gift to express facts and trends with pictures.
